It seems only yesterday that Chinmay chose to study engineering at VIIT, and pursue his life's dream. His parents would miss him but they knew Chinmay would do well in the next few years of his life. And Chinmay did very well. He made friends that would last him forever. He became popular because of his cheerful nature that his friends and classmates loved. He was a leader who was always striving for excellence, and yet his friends also remember him as the most joyful and relaxed person in the group. In four years Chinmay wove countless memories in the hearts of those he met and excelled in the pursuit of his dream. Never one to rest on laurels, he planned to continue his education further as well. But unfortunately, life had other plans. We were not to be blessed with Chinmay's presence much longer. As it is said, God recalls his angels sooner and Chinmay departed from our presence on the morning of 2nd December 2014. It is with a heavy heart that we recall all the memories we had with our beloved Chinmay and we wish we had more time to spend in his glowing presence. But knowing Chinmay, he would always have wanted us to be strong and smiling. He spent his life putting smiles on our faces and we will make sure that they do not ever fade. We are sure Chinmay would have had this to say: I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done. Keeping this in mind we pray for strength. Chinmay remains alive, smiling as ever, in your hearts and ours.
We loved him and will always…..Rest in Peace Chinmay..!!
